WOULD YOU BE UPSET? 11-18 year old answer please.?
Because we’re going on vacation tommorow we had to open our presents early.… this christmas I wanted a keyboard whilst my brother and sister wanted PSP’s. I wanted a keyboard like this http://pianoandsynth.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/yamaha-psr-e203-keyboard.jpg BUT THEY BROUGHT ME this http://weltenschule.de/TableHooters/picts/Bontempi_MinstrelBeta_2.jpeg which was only about -20 (I could have brought it myself) and I’m VERY VERY VERY VERRRRRRRRYYYYYY UPSET because my brother who is 11 got a BMX bike, a PSP with 6 games and 3 playstation 3 games, A 10 year old DOES NOT need that much! My sister got a pink PSP with a docking station and 5 games. I felt VERY JEALOUS seeing them open there presents…
Kids around my age (I’m 16) wouldn’t you find this unfair? IF I WAS TO DESCRIBE HOW I FEEL IN ONE WORD I WOULD SAY I FELT COMPLETELY HEART BROKEN. I ALSO FEEL VERY UN-IMPORTANT. =’[
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO TELL MY PARENTS HOW UPSET I AM WITHOUT SOUNDING UNGRATEFULL OR SPITEFULL?

When I tell them I REALLLY DON’T like it they’re getting offended and I’m feeling really bad. But no wonder why they needed to save some money, what they brought my brother was way too expensive!
This really sucks because my sweet sixteen also sucked (nobody turned up at my party) I thought christmas would have been better.
nope, I’ve def not got any other presents.

must be hard.
just let your parents know you would appreciate it if you were treated like your little siblings. Don’t act afraid, they will see that as a weakness. Let them know you would think it’s fair if you got a hundred dollars (or more) to go shopping with since your Christmas presents and sweet 16 sucked. Just be firm with them and everything should work out.

Just ask them if they could buy you a keyboard with my futures on in because it was really the only thing you wanted for Christmas. That keyboard looks like it cost more than $15 though, so maybe it was a few hundred.
I’m the same way and I never get presents, but I’m the youngest and my parents think I ask for too much so I end up getting nothing.

I would totally feel that way! i dont get half as much as my sister and it drives me crazy just keep ot to your self and then in a couple of weeks ask your mom for the piano you wanted and show her the picture and all the info.
Your parents may be tight with money at the moment. As the credit crunch and all. They’re just not letting on, and still trying to please you as christmas as best they can.

I know how that feels. But i usually feel unwanted when my parents say i’m going no where good, or call me a whore or hit me. Not because i didn’t get the gift i wanted. I’d be happy to get something. You never know, they might be saving up to get you that some other time. And i’m sorry your sweet sixteen didn’t turn out the way you wanted it too. But think for just a second, about the other kids who never get anything. ever. I learned about kids in Uganda, it changed me. I learned about the Invisible Children foundation. If you haven’t heard of them then you should look them up. These kids get nothing for xmas and they don’t complain. They are an inspiration and we should look up to them. I hope that you get ur present you want and that you forget your jealousy enough to remember how good your life really is. Not to sound mean or anything, good luck with all. =D

aaw that is unfair that your sibs got better presants well thyier yonger so they get the best prestants, im sorry. just say well umm just talk to them and if you sound ungratful then o well maybe they though you would understand better if you diddent get the gift you wanted and maybe you can just ask them if they can take it back and you can pay for some of it and they can pay the rest?

i would be so mad to. the same thing is happening to me. i wanted an open holed flute for christmas which was around $700 and my parents are like no your not getting it. its to expensive and its not like we don’t want to get it for you but we can’t. ya they cant get me a $700 flute i would use for the next 8 years of my life(im and 8th grade girl so that would be 4 years of high school marching band and collage marching band that i would play every day of my life but you can get my brother( hes 16) a $2000 dirt bike that he wil use all of 4 days a year and will be in collage after two years.
im gueesing the older you get the less value your presents get?
