When an ipod battery is worn out, can I still use power adapter and docks to power it?
When my ipods battery wont hold its charge anymore in the future, will I still be able to use the docks and car chargers to power the ipod and still use it while its connected to a power source like the wall socket or car ciggaratte charger?

It takes many charges to lose its abiltiy to charge. and it will still charge, so yes. and by the time your battery runs out for good they will have better ipods for less than what you paid for yours.
fyi: its takes like 1000 charges for it to lose like 10% of its power capacity
