What's The Best Way To Connect Ipod To Your Car?
If I have an aux port on my CD player…and an ipod nano..what’s the best way? to get the male to male 3mm cable and hook it up? hows the quality on those
or I heard that you can get a cable thats one side 3 mm aux and the other side connects to the docking part of your ipod does that deliver better sound quality?

the best way? get a car with ipod compatibility
Well you should find a port where you would plug the cord into your car. The you get that cord and first plug it into your Ipod, THEN into your car.
Get the cable that goes from the aux to the iPod headphone jack. They cost about $15 but sometimes they are on sale for about $10. The sound quality is the best. Older vehicles don’t have that aux jack so choices are limited to FM transmitter or cassette adapter. I paid about $80 for the FM transmitter years ago, and I had to change the channel on it every two or three minutes — it sucks. If you use a high quality cassette adapter in a high quality cassette player, it’s a lot better than the FM transmitter but if you have the aux jack that’s definitely the way to go. Buy it from somewhere local so you can return it easily if you’re not happy with it, but I know you will be.
I’ll tell you the easyest and least costly way for you, cause I use to do this alot. Go to walmart and get a radio transmiter, there buy the headphones unless they moved them. Plug it into your ipod headphone jack, pick a radio station on the transmiter, and match the station on your radio in your car, and it picks up the music crystal clear. and whats fun if you have several cars around you and there friends tell them to tune into your station and they can hear it too lol.
