It depends on what you are looking for. If your looking for amazing sound quality, I recommend a Bose ipod docking station. However, I have an iHome, and it serves it purpose very well. The music quality is perfect, and it has an alarm and radio as well.
For bose- http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/digital_music_systems/sounddock_systems/index.jsp
You can find iHome at any electronic store, this is the original site- http://www.ihomeaudio.com/
They make ipod accessories to do just about anything you want. The question really is what features are you looking for? What’s important to you. Is it sound quality? Then you should get one with the best speakers. Is it dual alarm clocks? Tell us what features you want and then people can help.
Well basics…. you can just buy a $30 dock and it will probably work.
Or you can buy a Home Theater for $120… they’re not that expensive anymore… I have a Phillips Home Theater and it comes with an iPod dock and 5.1 surround sound speakers (5 speakers and 1 subwoofer)… plus a upconverting DVD Player (1080p lol!)
An iHome is probably the most popular next to TEAC
Best ones are Bose I guess…

I used to work at a big box electronics store and the best iPod dock I ever came across was the one made by Kicker. The quality was unbelievable. You should check it out.
well i know compouter speakers are better thn like radio speakers so if i were you id just get spekers for an ipd like not an alarm clock dock or a radio dock id just get a speakers dock
make sure its compatible with the iphone and itouch. I would just get it from apple if you’re gonna spend a lot because then at least you can bring it back if it breaks since they warranty most of their stuff. You might want an alarm clock on it that plays a selected song at a certain time if you want to use it to wake you up. You want a remote that you can not only change the song, volume and play/pause but also scroll through your ipod. Also make sure it charges! because some don’t. Get one that has backup battery if it has a clock so if the power goes out you don’t have to reset everything.
