I was hoping not to pay more than 0 – 0 max if possible but will pay more if I don’t have a choice.

I just got a Vizio 55" & 32" LCD 1080p (No 3D on either)….

*** I want at least (4) HDMI inputs (1.4 ?) – 5 inputs would be nice though

I will be using *Verizon Fios TV , *DVD player (for now but will buy Blue Ray soon) , *Wii Game console & *Macbook Pro computer (dvi to hdmi adaptor?). I will possibly be using my *iPhone to dock also – video and audio

*** Something that will sound nice for a 12 x 12 room (I am using JBL speakers) I probably only need it to be 5.1 Surround (not 7.1) because it is a small room?

*** Upconverting capability (do I need this?)

*** Customizable Screen Names (i.e. if I plug Blue Ray into DVD in…. I can change name on screen to "Blue Ray"

*** Do most/all Receivers have onscreen menu’s? (I Would like this feature)

And the most IMPORTANT… :)

* I will be using (1) HDMI cable for the sole video source from the receiver to the TV. I will probably not be needing audio to the TV but maybe will use it. (I will mostly be using my JBL speakers for sound) – Front L / Center / Front R / Rear L / Rear R

*** I need the Receiver to be able to send anything inputed in it to the TV. So…. not only items that are plugged into the receiver via HDMI but also my Wii (which uses Component) or if I plug in something with Composite etc…

Thanks for your help!

P.S. I found the TX-SR608 (Onkyo)…
Are Onkyos reliable? They seem to be low in price?

I have a jailbroken ipod touch and a crappy verizon cell phone. Is there any way I can forward my texts sent to my cell phone to my ipod touch? I know it is possible to text on ipod touches, but you are forced to have a type of email username, not a phone number. I need to get texts on my ipod that were sent to my cell phone. My ipod IS jailbroken as well. Thanks

Any pros and cons appreciated; I have a year old really simple cell phone, eligible for an upgrade to a different phone. I want an MP3 player for storing and listening to audiobooks mostly, maybe some music. I’m with Verizon and they recommend the Chocolate. What would better – upgrading to a Chocolate (will cost me about 5) or upgrading to a free phone and buy an MP3 player? I’m looking for a 4GB player, and not an iPod. Do MP3 players have docking stations for use as speakers? or are those docking speakers just for iPods?
