So my 3rd gen iPod touch and my nano perfectly works with the sounddock 10 when used with the dock connector but it doesn’t work with the touch over Bluetooth. Every other telephones in the house can stream music to it with Bluetooth but not my iPod! Can this problem be fixed? Maybe I have to buy a new bluetooth adapter(I don’t want to)?

i got a nano so i’m thinking about selling on ebay or soemthing…just wanted to get an idea if it’s even WORTH putting it up:

      1) Like i said, 2nd Generation Pink iPod Mini (4GB)

      2) FANTASTIC cosmetic shape. no dents, screen prestine (i took VERY good care of it). 1 TINY nick on the top left corner…very small.

      3) the battery life isn’t great. it’s at least a few hours (w/out backlight…which isn’t necissary). mucho better than other stories I’ve heard…

      4) I’ll include 3 cases (1 leather flip, 2 gel cases…all different shades of pink), a car charger, wall charger, dock adapter

      5) comes with the ORIGINAL BOX and all paperwork/stickers/cables/cd EVERYTHING (the original earbuds it came with broke a LOONG time ago, I’ll include NEW ones).

So yeah, how much would you pay? Just wondering…merci for your opinions :)
      well…batt life IS a few hours…

I have a 2nd generation iPod Nano, and it keeps freezing. When I hit a button it won’t do anything and when I try to scroll up or down it won’t do anything even though a song is still playing. It does it constantly and for a long period of time. The only time it doesn’t freeze is when it’s on the docking station in my room, so I can’t listen to it in the car or anywhere else. Please help?

I’d like one that charges my nano, but also has awesome sound.
I don’t want like surround sound for iPod that takes a lot of time to assemble. Just a plain speaker that plays my music and has a remote will do.
I don’t want one that doubles as a CD player/alarm clock/etc…I just want one that docks my nano, plays it, charges it, has a remote, and has awesome sound.

My sister just got a Bose SoundDock Tuesday and it is cool. I’ve listened to it a couple of times, but the remote won’t allow you to go back to menu so I guess that is a factor too, ability to go back to menu from the remote. I heard the Apple Hi-Fi is good too, but to me the Bose looks a lot better. I may be missing the best one out there just because it isn’t a big named one (Bose, Apple, etc.). I’m ready to pay the big price if I get sound and everything I listed for it. I want it worth my while.
I’ve done a little research with other people who have asked the same question, but still haven’t come to a decision.

I have the 2nd generation iPod Touch with 8G. Whenever I plug it into a dock through the charging jack (not the earphone jack) the sound only comes out of the ipod itself instead of the stereo system. I have plugged it into multiple car stereos and dock systems. Is there some setting I need to change or do I need to take it the Apple Store? Thanks!
My friends iPod is 16G, but it works fine. And my old nano worked fine too…

I’m trying to figure out what to get my girlfriend for Christmas. She recently lost her ipod, and I’d like to replace it for her, but I’m not sure what to get.

She’s VERY into music, and generally takes her Ipod with her wherever she goes. Her last ipod was an older 8 gb ipod Touch. It didn’t have enough storage space for all the music she wanted to put on it, so I definitely want to get her something that’s at least 16 gb.

She also has an HTC Droid Eris phone (probably upgrading to a Droid X soon), which, I believe, covers most of the cool non-music functions of the ipod touch. She’s also kind of a techie, and loves cool little gadgets.

She takes her ipod to the gym, which makes me think the nano would be a little nicer for it’s small size.

Do you think it’s worth 0 extra for the 32 gb touch, or do you think she’d be happier with the much smaller 16 gb nano?

I have no experience with either of these. I have an ipod classic that doesn’t leave it’s car dock. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Oh yeah… that’s the other thing. The Nano is available in pink, and she’s sure to love that! lol

I have a bose sounddock and have no problems with it.
Yesterday, we removed the insert for my Nano so we could use a bigger Ipod in the insert.
Now I can’t seem to get the Nano insert back in place…
I’ve been pushing on it pretty hard, but am afraid to break it.
            What am I doing wrong??

What accessories for your iPod do you have, that you simply could not live without? Any of them cross-compatible (ie : can you stick a touch and nano into them?)

Right now I have a 1st generation iPod Touch that has nothing more than the black hard case on it.

            Thanks

I have a 4th generation Ipod Nano. I have very little music on it, however I listen to many podcasts. My boyfriend now has an Ipod Classic. He will download a lot of music and wants nothing to do with my podcasts. We already maintain separate user accounts on our PC, but somehow when he connects his iPod into iTunes it downloads all my podcasts. How on earth do we manage separate podcast libraries but share music?
            Thanks in advance.

I had an iPod car adapter installed in my car about 2 years ago because I was sick of the Fm transmitters. However, once it’s plugged in, there is no way to control the songs through the iPod. It’s just on perma-shuffle. None of the controls on the iPod work, and I have to shuffle using mycars CD controls. It did this for my last nano, and now the new one. Anyone know how to make it so you can choose what you want to listen to?
I have over 2000 songs on it. I know all about making a playlist and whatnot. But more of what I’m looking for is situation. You know, when you wanna hear that ONE song, and you want to find it.
So I guess I mean, outside of making a playlist, does anyone know a way to fix it so you can control songs from your iPod, in your car?

I just bought one of those MP3 players that looks like an iPod, works BETTER than a nano, and the only thing that’s different between this and an iPod video is that it doesn’t have the brand name. I think that when you buy an iPod, most of the price is paying for the apple brand name. What do you think? (I got the other one off of ebay, brand new, for about , including shipping and handling.

Even though none of the accessories I got the year before claim to support the 4th generation Nano (because the 4th generation Nano was not out when these accessories were released), will they still work if I used the Nano with them?
