For a Ford Windstar.
I’m not sure if I’m using the correct term, but I’m looking for an iPod… thing that allows you to play your iPod’s music in your car.
Also, preferably not something that you’d have to dismantle a car’s stereo.
Are those cassettes that have a wire that you can plug into the headphone jack of your iPod any good?

I want to play some music on holloween but I don’t know if I should get an auxiliary cord or a dock… I have an iPod touch 2g 3.0 and want good quality.. Is this possible with either?

I know ipod has a car adapter that allows you to listen to music in the car, but you need a tape player. Problem is my car doesn’t have a tape player so does anyone know if there are car adapters for ipod that doesn’t require a tape player?

What types of docking stations will it work with? (I want it to charge while it plays music through the speakers)

While trying to play music from my old ipod on my dock (Pure-Fi Anywhere 2) it began skipping all of my songs until finally turning off. Now there are no songs on it. Although it says there is only 9.1 GB of available space out of 18.5 GB. I had around 5,000 songs on it originally.

I have an Altec Lansing ipod dock i just got for christmas for my ipod nano 2nd generation, It says on the box that it works for my ipod. But when i connect it to the dock it makes a noise that it has settled in and connected but the music just wont play!
Can someone help me?
I cant figure out how to make it work.
Thanks

How do I sync my ipod to my new laptop (on a new itunes)without completely erasing the music and videos that I have on it? Is there a way I can save all the music I have on the ipod now somewhere onto the computer, erase what’s on the ipod, and later add the files back into the new itunes? Or is there an easier way of doing things? Please help, itunes sucks and I have no idea how to do this!

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a way to have music not stop playing when the iPhone is removed from a dock?

I have a dock in my car and whenever I hit a bump the iPhone loses connection to the dock then immediatly recconects to the dock. When this happens I have to hit play again because the music stops playing as soon as it’s disconnected. My phone is jailbroken so I don’t know if anything can be found on cydia. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

I want to buy an ipod docking station, it needs to be GREAT SOUND. I like to turn the music up loud and don’t want the speakers to sound crappy.
It’d be a bonus if it were reasonably priced.

So I downloaded the newest version of iTunes and although it gives me a four-tab ‘control panel’ when I dock my iPod I can no longer see – or more importantly manage – any of the music that is actually on my iPod. My goal here is to go from auto-sync to manual management of my music and so I need to get a look at what is on my iPod so I can delete a ton of never-listened-to stuff on the iPod but retain it in the iTunes.

I’ve tried clicking on the iPod icon, right-clicking it and going through all of the tabs (even selecting ‘manual management’ or whatever) – but nothing brings up a list of the music currently on my iPod like older versions of iTunes used to.

Infuriating! Help me – this is too simple and gross an engineering oversight to have ever made it to market, whcih means I’m not doing something (or seeing something) correctly.

Thanks!

When i was trying to put music on my ipod for the first time (on a window computer) it told me that: in needed to restore and update my ipod to make it a "windows ipod" because it was a "macintosh ipod". Whatever that means. So, whats the difference?

i dont have a cassette player in my car so i cant use a cassette adapter for my ipod. if i get one of those ipod car chargers will it play music through my speakers? or will it just charge it? if it wont play the music how can i get my ipod to play through my car speakers?

I have a dock/CD player/radio for my iPod Nano, but I got a Touch 2G and gave my nano to my sister. Are there any adapters so that the dock will charge the Touch? Right now, the dock will play its music but the iPod says that the accessory is not for that touch. Thanks!

If not, what are some other good accessories for the iPod Touch 2G?

Thanks!

I recently bought an ipod touch to replace my classic. My Touch doesn’t play on my docking station (which is compatible for a ipod touch) sound only plays through the ipods internal speakers. However, when the ipod is docked, i can stop the music with my remote control to the docking station? Im very confused by this. I don’t know if it is a setting on my ipod which i have to change. Please help!!!

I already know about the cassette plug in but I saw someone else that had a car charger that also played the music on the ipod through the car stereo and it was plugged into the cigarette lighter.
