Your Source Of iPod Docks Information
Not only does the home button not work but now none of my computers will detect the iPod is even connected. Here it is when I cut it off and plug it in the iPod turns on so it knows it is being connected somewhere. It won’t start charging and iTunes doesnt see it. Now when I plug it into my dock in the car it works fine I can play music and it charges. What is going on? how can I restore it if he home button doesn’t work and iTunes wont detect? any suggestions
hello, i have a 1996 firebird formula with stock stereo. i have an mp3 player (non-ipod). I would like to connect my player without having wires or a cradle showing, and control the music from my factory stereo. ideally, the mp3 player would be in the glove box. also, could it charge my mp3 player? is this possible? can you reccomend a product for me??

which ipod adapter for the car would you recommend? the adapter that connects the ipod to the car so that you can listen to the music on your ipod on the speakers in your car. Are there any really good quality kinds? mainly just want to know if i should get the kind that plug into the electrical outlet in the car.. or the kind that plug into the cassette player? thanks a head of time!
I have a speaker dock made by Brookstone that works great with my Nano, but it will only charge my iPod Touch 2G. It will not play music through the speakers. I’m looking for something suitable for a nightstand under 0. Thanks!
I am wanting to buy the Buffalo Dualie FireWire 800/USB500GB Hard Drive + iPhone Dock to keep movies and music on it etc. But can I take the stuff off the buffalo hard drive and put it on the iPhone on the go ( with no computer).

I have an iPhone 3g and when I plug it into my radio dock there is an intermittent buzz that isn’t over the music but it is annoying during quiet parts. Any ideas why?

I have a new laptop after my other one broke. The only place for my music now is on my ipod as my old itunes is unavailable. When i downloaded itunes for my new laptop i tried to sync my ipod but was unable to as it was already synced to the itunes on my old laptop. My best friend and I are going on a road trip in a few weeks time and are going to Best Buy to get a GPS. In order to keep the GPS charged and running for the whole 8 to 18 hours at a time that we need to get to each city, we would have to connect it to the car’s cigarette lighter to the best of my understanding. I also would like to buy a dock connector for my iPod so we can play music from my iPod through the car’s speakers, but from the best of my knowledge, that is connected through the car’s cigarette lighter also and obviously we can’t have both plugged in at the same time. This little plastic thing came with my itouch an i figures out it’s called a dock adapter. But what’s the point of it? Also where can I get a pretty iPod dock that charges and playa music and has an alarm for around 100$?

hey i was wondering how i would go about deleting songs off my ipod with my computer. when i bought my ipod, i went to my friends house and downloaded a bunch of his music, but what i downloaded there nearly filled my ipod. he has now moved away so i cant go to his house and take songs off my ipod. however, i never did register my ipod. could that be a loophole of some sorts?
So I had to change computers because my other one crashed. This iTunes recognized my iPod but none of my music is on iTunes, or anywhere in "My computer" but all my music is in my iPod. If you know how I can transfer from my iPod to my computer that would be great! I tried using software but i had to pay for it, and im not going to do that.

i just recently bought an ipod touch third generation and went home to put it on my ipod dock to charge and it said it was not supported with the accessory. i looked on ebay but i dont know what to look for… so if anyone has a dock that will charge and play music that works with the touch third gen. please tell me!
(My ipod dock is fairly new and has had no damage. Recently, when I put my ipod nano in, the music doesnt play properly unless I tilt it forward at an angle. I have then propped it up with something behind it.

Okay, so when I was like 10, I got a new computer. When I hooked my iPod up to it, I lost all my songs. I just got a new computer, and I would like to know how to sync my iPod (meaning put all of the music from it) on my new computer. I looked up other questions like this, but I couldn’t understand the computer terms. Any simplified answers?
K, so i have itunes but i only have like 20 songs. My friend let me borrow his ipod and i want to delete my songs on itunes and have his songs instead. But everytime i plug his in it says shit like ‘restore ipod’ ‘format ipod’ and i don’t know what to click.
I just want his music on my itunes without anything deleting on his ipod.
My iPod settings is set so that it automatically syncs with my iTunes. However, my old computer died so a lot of my music was lost. I want to switch my iPod settings to the "manually manage music" option without plugging it into my new computer (cause then it will automatically sync with my new iTunes and I’ll lose a lot of music).

I do not have an AUX jack in my car: 2005 bmw 325i nor do I have a cassette player so it looks as if i will have to use an fm transmitter 
unless there are better alternatives
