I am 16 so I DON’T have money to blow on something more than like USD more or less. Haha I don’t have an iPod dock, headphone thingy, or a cassette player. I tried plugging in though the cigarette lighter and that didn’t work so I just have the radio and a CD player. And my laptop isn’t compatible with my portable CD drive thingy so I can’t burn CD’s. Life is great… :b It’s a waste to burn that many CD’s anyways because I’m a big music person and I’d have about 50 CD’s by the time I’m done burning just the essential favourites…
My car is a 2006 Mini Cooper so if you have/have had one and there is a headphone jack that I don’t know about, please let me know. I’ve checked thoroughly though and I don’t think there is one…
And yes, I know I’m VERY lucky to have a Mini as my first car!!! I treat it like I would treat a baby. Hahaha

I have a very buggy 30gb Zune and I’m trying to save up money for a new MP3 player. The main reason I want an iPod is because they are more compatible with docking stations (including ones in the car- and I do plan on getting a car with iPod integration).
I have a lot of music on my Zune, so an iPod Nano or Shuffle don’t have enough storage space. I love the idea of watching videos on my MP3 player (short clips while walking on the treadmill). However, I rarely use my MP3 players in a wi-fi enabled area, and I have an Android smartphone.
My smartphone, however, doesn’t have Netflix and some of the apps available for Apple.
I pretty much just use my Zune to listen to music, books, or podcasts while relaxing, driving, or working out.

I tried every station not broadcasting but the sound was still very fuzzy. I live in a very populated area and there aren’t many stations that don’t broadcast on FM. Could this be the problem? Did I get a cheap transmitter ()?
Also, I was wondering… Should I spend the money to get a nicer one or opt for a portable docking station? If so which one? I would really like to be able to listen to the music in my car and at my house so I am seriously considering this option.

So I want to buy an iHome Clock radio for my iPhone but I’ve found that the ones made to work for the iPod only are much cheaper than those made to work for the iPhone. Since they have the same functions I’m wondering if someone has tried and knows if the dock fits the iPhone as well and works in order for me to save some money. (I have the 1st generation iPhone)

I’ve got 0. I’m buying sound equipment for myself. Should I either spend it on a 0 home theater system that’s volcanically loud (which I’m a huge fan of) or a plays-every-note Bose portable sounddock I could bring anywhere I wanted. Factors to keep in mind are: I’d definitely get more use out of the sounddock seeing as my roommates might get pissed at how loud my home theater system is and I could bring the sounddock with me everywhere. I bought a 1982 cutlass supreme from the Auto Wreckers and it runs PERFECT. Its pretty decent on gas and i have had the dents fixed, and a nice new metallic black paint job put on it. I have had 15 inch p05s put on with black rally rims. It has turned out really nice, i do have some questions though. The radio doesn’t work, and its all original interior. My Ipod adapter that you put in the lighter switch doesn’t register with the lighter switch (doesn’t even charge.) Does anyone know how to make this work without having to get a new dock ( i have a nice new dock for it, but dont have the money to have it switched at the moment.

The lighter works with the car lighter but not ipod adaptor.
Also, there is a wire on the inside of the car that doesnt attach to anything inside. If you play with it. The radio starts working.

I bought an alarm clock app and I want to replace my real alarm clock with this alarm clock app because it shows the weather and news feeds too. But I am well aware of overcharging batteries as I ruined my Alienware MX17 laptop battery and countless other gadgets due to overcharging or just leaving things plugged in.
