I really want an iPod touch and next week for one week only they will offer a Logitech ipod dock with it for AU8.
So its basically cheaper with a bonus Logitech iPod dock added in.
Should I take this deal or wait til I have enough money for a 16 GB? Will there be better deals in the coming weeks?

Does anyone know where I can find a discounted bose ipod sounddock (preferably the portable one) for less than the listed price? Everywhere I look, it’s from 0-9. Are there any websites where i can find one? I can’t even find one much cheaper on ebay!

Yeah, bose is the best and i’m sure it’s hard to find at a discount price. i’ll probably either have to bone up and pay the money or wait until the noteriety wears off and the price goes down. Last thing i want to do is get an "open box sale" and find out it’s broken.

I bought an alarm clock app and I want to replace my real alarm clock with this alarm clock app because it shows the weather and news feeds too. But I am well aware of overcharging batteries as I ruined my Alienware MX17 laptop battery and countless other gadgets due to overcharging or just leaving things plugged in. But I really like this clock app and dock idea and why would they make the app unless you could do it like that? I know…to waste people’s money. Anyway, is there any hope this that I can make this work without screwing up my iPhone battery life?

I have an iPod touch 1st gen 16gb with a green speck case, belt holster that goes with the case, an Apple Universal Dock (The real one from the apple store), an Apple USB wall charger (Also authentic) 2 USB cables (Authentic), the remote for the dock, all of the adapters and the little plastic stand the ipod comes with.

By the way I’m 16 (turned it in july), sister is 17 and my brother is 11 nearly 12.. so were in the same age range really. So it’s DEF not because of my age!

I’m trying to buy some HIFI equipment for ipod/pc use (mp3s if i don’t have better sound files). Now I’m left with a decision I researched quite heavily and it seems to me if I buy a ipod docking system the best one to use is probably the Jamo i300 or the Klipsch iGroove. The igroove got fantastic reviews for the price but i could spend more money and get the jamo but would it be worth it for the price?? My other problem is it’s only my girlfriend who wants me to get a docking system because they look nicer (namely the igroove) as I was looking at the fatman amps or some cambridge audio amps and some nice speakers then buying a lead to connect them through the bottom of the ipod. So round two of questions goes like this, is the fatman worth it or are tubes not so good for amps out of the guitar arena, if so which amp should i get, and finally would this actually be better than purchasing the docking systems as then can charge and provide all needed?
I also wasn’t looking to spend more than £400 less if poss. and don’t need too much volume.

hi, i was thinking about getting the ipod touch second generation, the 8 GB one, and i have a few questions. 1st well i have the original ipod like yes the 1st one ever made, and so i rly wanted a new one. But my mom was thinking of getting me speakers cause i don’t have any good ones. That was going to be around 200$. then i said well what about the ipod touch? it is only 30$ more so she said yea….ok so now i need to no if i need a docking station to play the music out loud or can it play out loud by itself? also do you need to pay to be connected to the internet? I was thinking that there must be some kind of monthly fee to have internet but it doesn’t mention anything about that. I thought that because i have internet on my phone and have to pay however much amount a month to have it. is it the same with the touch? and i am only 12 yrs old (dont say anything abt how old u hav to b on answers, my mom said its fine) and so is 8 GB enough for me? my mom has no idea about this kind of technology, so she doesn’t no. and we r a little tight for money and it is the least expensive one so i think it would be best.

I use an iPod dock and car transmitter every morning, and it seems that where the plug goes gave away and pushed in, making it so I can’t use either my dock or transmitter. My dad doesn’t have the receipt, but I have the original packaging. Will they exchange it for a new one? I don’t even want money for it, just another one.

Okay, so I tend to fall alseep with my iPod on. I don’t have the money to get a docking station. So, my question is, is there like an auto sleep on iPod Touch? Like, if you left it running for a set amount of time without touching it, it would turn off on it’s own. My MP3’s used to, but ca. iPod Touch? Thanks. If it does, can you give me step by step?

I just got a new speaker setup that has a universal dock setup type deal. However it didn’t come with adapters. Is there any accessory I can buy that comes with the universal dock adapter for the iPhone 3G?
I don’t want to waste money on the 9 dollar dock adapter and not have anything to show for it except 2 extra adapters.
