Your Source Of iPod Docks Information
Okay, I just activated my phone and another part of activating it is to connect it with the USB cable to the dock. I did that with the iTunes open (the latest version) and a pop-up came saying that I can’t use my iPhone because the Apple Mobile Device service isn’t started. What does that mean and how do I fix it? Please help
I just got a new pc and I need to get my iPod songs onto my new iTunes. Some of the stuff isn’t bought from iTunes so it wouldn’t transfer. I know about idump but it says it can’t read my iPod. Does anyone know of any similar free programs? Or another way to transfer my songs? Any help is appreciated!
I just got a new mac, and with that i got a new ipod. So i hooked my new ipod up to my old itunes on my old computer and transfered all the songs onto it.
Now, i tried to plug my ipod into my mac, and it won’t transfer the song. It gives me the option to "transfer purchases" but it doesn’t do anything.
So how can i get this ipod synced with this new mac?
I have a new laptop after my other one broke. The only place for my music now is on my ipod as my old itunes is unavailable. When i downloaded itunes for my new laptop i tried to sync my ipod but was unable to as it was already synced to the itunes on my old laptop. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the music from my ipod to my new itunes without losing all of the music as my new itunes wants to erase my ipod.
I have a 4th generation Ipod Nano. I have very little music on it, however I listen to many podcasts. My boyfriend now has an Ipod Classic. He will download a lot of music and wants nothing to do with my podcasts. We already maintain separate user accounts on our PC, but somehow when he connects his iPod into iTunes it downloads all my podcasts. How on earth do we manage separate podcast libraries but share music?

Okay I plugged in my ipod to my friends itunes. My ipod is already synced with now three iunes. But after I plugged my ipod into my friends itunes I can’t get my songs from my itunes back on my ipod. A while ago I read that your ipod can be synced to four itunes? Correct me if I’m wrong is that true? If this is too confusing email me please.
Ok I found this iPod and I have Yahoo360 Proshare. I don’t have any iPod software and my mom thinks its a waste to buy it. She doesn’t wanna pay for iTunes. When I plug in my iPod on my computer the drive never shows up. So what can I do to get songs for free on my iPod???
I’ve bought about 80 directly from my ipod, and I need to sync my ipod, but on a different computer because our old one broke down. This itunes has different songs from my old itunes. All I care about are the songs I purchased from my ipod I don’t care about all my other songs.
So usually, i upload songs and stuff on my dad’s computer in the itunes so all of the songs on my ipod are there.
I also have itunes on my computer but i dont have all the songs on my ipod on this computer
can i sync songs from my computer into my ipod? would all the other songs still be there? and will my ipod’s songs show up in my itunes but still be in the itunes on my dad’s computer? help!
So I had to change computers because my other one crashed. This iTunes recognized my iPod but none of my music is on iTunes, or anywhere in "My computer" but all my music is in my iPod. If you know how I can transfer from my iPod to my computer that would be great! I tried using software but i had to pay for it, and im not going to do that.

I’m getting the ipod touch for xmas and I will have to use one itunes account that I already use for my old ipod. Also my brother uses his ipod on the same account ( different labtops though). Can i use my new ipod touch on the same account?
My friend came over for a week and she has an iPod touched which she synced with a different iTunes. She would like to put some new games on her iPod so that we could play on multiplayer. She doesn’t want to loose the information songs and everything on her iPod. Is there anyway to only put one or two apps on the iPod without losing the data stored on it? Thanks!:)
K, so i have itunes but i only have like 20 songs. My friend let me borrow his ipod and i want to delete my songs on itunes and have his songs instead. But everytime i plug his in it says shit like ‘restore ipod’ ‘format ipod’ and i don’t know what to click.
I just want his music on my itunes without anything deleting on his ipod.
The screen on my iPod Nano 1st gen cracked and I do not want to get it fixed. The iPod still works and i reset it to the factory settings through iTunes. Now can anyone give me a walk through of how to get to stuff like playlists, songs, and artists?(like the number of clicks etc.) Thanks!
My iPod settings is set so that it automatically syncs with my iTunes. However, my old computer died so a lot of my music was lost. I want to switch my iPod settings to the "manually manage music" option without plugging it into my new computer (cause then it will automatically sync with my new iTunes and I’ll lose a lot of music).
Is there a way to switch your preference without plugging in your iPod?
My friend gave me an old iPod nano (2nd generation) that has been used. I plugged it into my computer hoping to restore it to factory setting and then put my music onto it, but the iPod control is not showing up on iTunes. How do I get it to work so that I can erase its data and upload my music?
when i get my ipod do all the songs i put on it have to be from itunes or can i copy and paste songs from limewire onto it?
I have an itunes but I’ve never actually owned an ipod. My boyfriend left for fishing this summer and left me his ipod so I can use his music while he’s gone. Ok well every time I plug my ipod into my computer it’ll show on my computer but not on itunes. It won’t even sync my music. Then when I do plug in my ipod and i have itunes up, itunes will completely freeze and stop playing my music. The moment I unplug my ipod itunes continues on working. What’s going on? I got a new iPod recently and I want to add all the songs from my old iPod to the new one. The problem is that the computer I had my whole library on crashed, and that most of my songs were not purchased with iTunes. How do you get a picture of the album from a CD on your IPod? I would usually get it off of the Internet, then put it into my pictures, then download it for every song (right click the song, get album info, ect.), but when I would view it it would be very big and blurry on my IPod. Is there an easier way to download the album cover on my IPod. btw~i already re-sized it from Itunes in the box where you put it, and it wont work.
