i know they make ipod docking stations that are portable so you can use the speakers with your ipod using batteries, but u can only use it to charge the ipod when its plugged in. is there one that lets you charge your ipod using just the batteries? any specific examples would really help…thank u sooo much:)

I just got a new iphone from att on the 3g network. I read the manual it came with but it was absolutely NO help.I would love if someone could give my some tips. Things k\like when I go to the app store and get ready to make a purchase it asks for my account # and password. I don’t know what to put. Also the itunes store , my dad got me an itunes gift card and I am anxious to add some music to my phone but I don’t know how. The weather, it is for new york, i live in ky, how do I change it to my city? the ipod function, what kind of files does it support, like can I download from lime wire on my pc and then sync up and Transfer? i do that with my other mp3 player. also does the phone work on the ipod docking stations like for speakers or alarm clocks with the ipod dock? There are many other questions I have but any little tips would be helpful, THANX!!!!

Is it just a regular line-in cable? If it is, then where in the cassette player do i plug it into? Do you need a special kind of cassette player to do this? About how expensive would and this kind of cable be and would it be cheaper just to get on of those iPod docking stations for the car?

so do docking stations for different types of ipods work for nano 3rd genration because i cant find one for the 3rd gen. in silver or in any color at all if not all of them work do any other generation of ipod docking stations work for nano 3rd genreation

My daughter will be getting a MP4 player for XMAS, it is the Augen brand, looks similar to the IPOD brand. Is the MP4 player compatiable with IPOD docking stations/radios? I want to purchase a radio for her as well but, I really do not know and I am not electronic savvy. Thanks for all help!!!

I have a creative zen nano mp3 player. I would like to listen to it with external speakers, but don’t want to use battery power to do so. I see all kinds if Ipod docking stations, but can’t seem to find a docking station or speaker accessory for USB (male end) Mp3 players. Any thoughts?

So I’m looking to purchasing an iPod docking station. The thing I’m most concerned about is killing my battery life by keeping it charging in the docking station. I’m wondering if there is a product that stops charging the iPod when it becomes fully charged…letting it drain….then turn the charger back on in order to keep the current battery memory.

Is this an actual feature that can be found? If not, what are the best iPod docking stations in your opinion?
