Your Source Of iPod Docks Information
I got my daughter an ipod touch for christmas. She has never owned one before, so to all you ipod touch owners, here’s my question….
What kinds of accessories are essential right away? I mean, aside from headphones (already got those) She’s 11 years old btw. Thanks for your help
Had it since like March and now all of a sudden, starting today, a message keeps popping up saying "This accessory is not optimized for iPhone. You may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength." But nothing is plugged into the dock, nothing is plugged into the headphones or anything. The message comes and goes and I restarted it but it keeps coming up. Help?
See, the reason I ask this question is because I just bought the Ipod on ebay and it only came as the Ipod with no accessories, I just bought the headphones and the case now I am waiting on an answer to the question so I don’t buy a charger for nothing. Thanks for your answers.
I have a couple of questions. But let me fill you in on the details I have an ipod video (30gb) and the headphones insert dosent work. But when I plug it in to the dock on my Ihome it works fine. Im buying a car soon and Id like to play it on my AUX. Is their a piece equipment that will plug the dock to the headphone insert in the car? And also if I just want to fix it how much would it cost to fix the audio on it? Please Help Me.

hey guys….i’m having some problem with my ipod..when i put my headphones in the headphone jack…and play some music…all i hear is static….there is no music….
it work in the car …. but car adapter is workin through the dock connecter in the bottom…so how can i fix this?

i was just about to buy a used ipod classic, 30 gig, and i was wondering what ill need.
it comes with a charger with one end that hooks to the ipod and one that hooks to the computer, can i use that to download music as well?
how can i take music from cds and put it on an ipod?
and i was wanting to listen to it in the car without headphones, how can i dock it in there and hear it?

Hi, All! Thinking of finally taking the plunge on an iPod! I’m looking at the new 120 gb Classic. I’m rather overwhelmed by the number of accessories that are available for these things. What advice do you have for me? What accessories are the MUST-HAVES? I’m thinking some sort of case/cover and possibly upgraded headphones as good sound is important to me.

the sound on my ipod nano 2nd generation is all distorted. it sounds like an organ or something is playing the music and i cant hear the words being sang over the accompanying background music. i tried restoring the settings but this did not fix the problem. i tried different headphones but this did not help either. i reset the ipod and this also didnt help me. i connected the ipod to the dock, and it plays fine! the only thing i can think of that may have caused it is it was in my pocket and i ran like 30 feet from my mom’s car into the school building while it was raining outside but it was off and completely in my pocket so idk how it could of got wet in such short time. how can i get my ipod to play back normal through the headphones? please guys help me im 16 and really cant afford a new ipod! thanks to anyone who has any ideas please email me at pioneer_sk33@yahoo.com
Just the iphone itself. But I can just buy the package with the dock, cable, and ac adapter for 50 bucks. So 0 for everything you would get in box w/o box itself, cleaning cloth, or headphones.
If it is a good deal, how good is it in terms of sales value (used, slightly scratched)?
I need help choosing a speaker system. I was looking at the Altec Lansing MIX imt800 and it seemed pretty good. However, I would prefer to have lots of bass so i want a subwoofer. I looked at the Logitech and it also seem pretty good. Bose makes great headphones, but the reviews for the speakers aren’t very positive. Which of the above is the best? Am i looking at the wrong speakers?

I restored my iPhone 4 and noticed while I was listening to music without headphones, it sounded monotone and when I covered the right speaker by the dock thr left speaker wasn’t inducing any sound. I read up that iPhone had 1 speaker.

I just got a 150 dollar gift card for Christmas, and I’m not sure what I should buy. I don’t really play 360 games anymore because of college and studying I got and the ones I wanted I got for Christmas. I’m not sure if I should get anything or should I just save it.
I am a 2ND year Mechanical Engineering student if that helps at all.

Thats why I’m kinda confused. I take very good care of my stuff and most of my electronics are less than 2 years old.
Good Idea About Laptop Ram. I Might upgrade mine to 8GB of DDR3, which could be useful when I need to run big engineering programs.

I read that you can only use the radio if your headphones are plugged in, however, I’m wondering if there is anyway that the radio will work when I dock my iPod on my iHome?
