Here’s a couple questions I have about it (don’t worry about getting exact values):
1) How many songs do you have so far?
2) Does it slow down as you add more songs?
3) How many hour of video do you have on it?
4) How many games do you have on your iPod?
5) What is your favorite feature on the iPod?
6) What accessories would you recommend [cover (hard or soft), FM transmitter, FM radio reciever, or anything else]?
7) What feature would you most like to see in the next iPod?
Any comments for the buyer?
Thanks very much for your opinion!

You see accessories for Ipod everywhere, but i have the zen micro, and I need something to charge it into an outlet. Right now, Im having to charge mine in the USB port of my computer, which sux. Does anyone else have problems with their zen micro running out of batteries quickly? And does anyone have a good FM transmitter for the zen micro? I have the Belkin TuneCastII, it runs on AAA batteries and dies only after a short time of listening. Are their better FM transmitters for the Zen Micro? I need advice! Thanks for any help.

Before we continue, I have updated my itunes and I have done the manual reset of the ipod by pushing the center button and the menu button at the same time. The ipod still functions and will play music through a sound dock that I have… but the dock will no longer charge the ipod. I (luckily) have an FM transmitter for my car that DOES charge it, so I can still use it. I also took it to a local retailer and docked it on several sound docks and some would charge it, some would not. Strange, eh? Anyway, if anyone has seen anything like this and has a tip to offer, I would greatly appreciate it.

ok so lately my ipod nano hasnt been working. It worked like 2 weeks ago in my car and on my iHome dock but not anymore. I have restarted it many times. The back light doesnt go on either. it takes a while to turn on. it only works when i plug it in to my computer to listen to music. It also has a full battery. could the ipod completely die soon like have to replace it with a new one? thanks for your help!
the ipod is prolly like 2nd generation. so couple years old at least. so my fm transmitter and iHome is fine and it could just be the ipod?

I have an FM transmitter for my iPod in my car and it has a 30-pin connector that I plug into the bottom of my iPod every time I get in the car. I would very much like to find a dock that I can mount in my car that I could attach the connector to (and keep it there all the time) so that when I get into the car all i have to do is put my iPod into the cradle and off I go! I am not very electronic savvy, but I have been unable to find anything like that.
Am I grasping at straws? Or does such a thing exist? If not, will someone please invent it?? LOL
Thanks in advance for your help!

I want to know if the usb cord that comes with the Ipod is the same as the one that’s used with the Zune? Are most of the accessories for the Zune compatible with the Ipod or are they totally different? I have an Ipod touch, I ordered an FM transmitter and it says it’s for the Zune but the picture on the Ebay listing showed an Ipod on the picture. It looks like they actually use the same little plug in the picture.
If it helps, I have an Ipod Touch.

I don’t neccesarily need to have a charging dock for the iPhone in the car, I just want to play music in the car through the headphone jack. However, I do not see an aux in port in the car for a cable to plug into from the iPhone. Again, it’s a 2003 Jeep Liberty. Also, I would prefer not to use an FM Transmitter of any kind, which is an easy solution for any vehicle. I would like to use an actual wire or cable for an auxillary-in audio connection in this specific car model. Any help please?
I understand that the 2003 Jeep Liberty does not have an aux-in port factory-installed (most old cars don’t) but aren’t there adapters and other accesories or services that can be used to put such a port in? This is the sort of solution I’m looking for. Thank you.

I am looking for a new FM transmitter for my car and my car does not have an auxiliary port. I would like the transmitter to have the ability to play my iPhone 3G as well as my iPod classic, charge my iPhone and have a dock where my iPhone can sit.
I have heard good things about Griffin, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of their products (or of belkin/any other good companies)
please let me know of any good fm transmitters that meet the requirements i have listed, if they provide good quality sound, or any other problems you have had with them
(price is not a factor)
- i would prefer if the fm transmitter came with a steering wheel mounted remote, but if not, it’s not a big deal

Im trying to purchase an Fm transmitter / car charger for my new ipod classic that i bought last week. My car is a 1986 BMW and i just got it yesterday. Any suggestions on what i should get. Please add details on the features, like if it has a dock or just a cord. A remote feature would be great but not required.

I’m going up north next week and I want to plug my Ipod dock/stereo into my car adapter. It doesn’t run on batteries and I don’t want to use an FM transmitter, ’cause those suck.
Does anyone know of something that will convert a regular AC adapter into the cigg. lighter (car adapter)?
Not literally a cigg lighter – just a standard car adapter plug.

Can someone please give me some insight on this topic. I currently have an iphone and I am trying to play music through the speakers of my car. What is the best way of doing this? I am trying to get the best sound quality and prefer not to have anything that’s wireless. I have seen people with ipod docks that plug right into the cigarette lighter socket and play great what technically is this because i don’t think it plays through the radio.

I’m looking into buying a vehicle. A majority of the new models come with an Input Jack specifically for MP3 players. I was wondering if it was possible to buy a docking system solely for charging, have your iPod docked and charging and still playing through the system? I’m just trying to avoid buying and FM transmitter because they are junk. I need to find a way to play directly through the stereo system while charging.

In other words, can I make my iPhone function like it does in an iPhone 3GS dock when it is connected to a fm transmitter? or old ipod dock? (i.e. is there an installable option to force the iPhone to always use the built-in iPhone speakers for sound output?) I have an old iPod video dock and would like my iPhone 3GS to still make all sounds (keyboard clicks, music, etc…) through the built-in speakers like it does when placed on the iPhone 3G or 3GS dock. Right now only calls and texts make sounds (everything else seems routed through the dock as if I had it plugged into a stereo). Is there a application on cydia or elsewhere to enable this? Or can I mod my old iPod dock into making my iPhone 3GS think that it is an iPhone dock? I am trying to get my iPhone 3GS to dock without having to take off the case. (hence why I am not using my iPhone 3GS form-fitted dock from apple). Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
would you mind elaborating?

I have an iPod mini (not a shuffle, a mini) and I am needing an FM transmitter so I can listen to the iPod through my car stereo system (no I don’t have a jack for an iPod my car). There are a lot out there, and I wanted some opinions on which are good and which aren’t. I have heard that some are less clear than others, some easier to use, etc. Preferrable I want one with a dock that plugs in and charges the iPod, too. Specific brand names, please. Thanks for your help!
*prefferably* sorry
Sparky: Do I have to get something like that installed?
I’m looking for a device that allows me to play the songs from my ipod library through my car speakers.
I have heard about the FM transmitters, and finding a correct station to match with your car radio, but I’m wondering what that has to do with anything and why that’s significant to listening to music through the stereo.
In simpler terms, how does the FM transmitter/car adapter work if I want to use it in my car?
Please help – thanks!
I recently had my ipod in a car dock (fm transmitter) and the fuse blew in the dock, and now the ipod wont turn on, ive tried resetting the ipod but that wont work, what do i do.
I have the iTrip auto FM transmitter that connects through the dock port in my iPod touch. The problem is that when transmitting audio to the car, the output volume is significantly lower than regular radio volume. If i crank my car’s stereo volume higher, I can hear some background noise. Is there any way to increase the output volume without having to change the car’s stereo volume?
so it’s not just the itrip fm transmitter that does the low volume output thing?
