I have recently jailbroken my ipod touch and i am getting an iphone 3g soon, and i want to jailbreak my future iphone as well. I’m looking at getting the sounddock but dont want to spend 600 on it… I’ve looked at Klipsch but their docks are really small… Haven’t heard them yet though so I’m wondering, are they too small to compete with the quality you’ll get for that size? I know there are much better options than Bose but I wondering if there is for that size…

I have a brand new Bose SoundDock (not the portable kind) and my iPod is about 3 years old 40GB. The iPod used to play through the SoundDock but for no apparent reason the sound no longer comes through. The folks at Apple are baffled as are the folks at Bose. My iPod plays in other Bose SoundDock models and other brands of sound docks but stopped working on this particular model of sound dock. Other iPod models work on my Bose SoundDock (tested with a few different ones). Tested my iPod on the same Bose model in the Apple store and it did not work there either, so it seems it is not my own Bose SoundDock. Tried making sure I had the latest software and rebooted the iPod. No joy. Anyone have this experience?

When my ipods battery wont hold its charge anymore in the future, will I still be able to use the docks and car chargers to power the ipod and still use it while its connected to a power source like the wall socket or car ciggaratte charger?

Can you buy iphone accessories on the internet? Has anyone ever bought iphone accessories online? Can anyone tell me a safe place to iphone accessories such as iphone cases or iphone docks? I don’t want to spend a ton of money, but I know some cases and docks don’t come cheap – do iphone cases and docks cost the same price online as they do in stores or are they cheaper? Many thanks!

Is there anyway to play my iPod through my car without using the docks that us FM stations. No matter what station it is on the sound is really fuzzy when the music is playing. So I’m trying to find something else that might work better. Thanks
My car is a 1991 with no extra features so I don’t have a headphone jack or tape player. Guess I’m outta luck.

Just that i was looking the Argos catalague and some docks said iPod and MP3 compatible etc.
Just wondering if that means an iPod nano will work in it, or just the classics?

I’m searching for one. I want it to have a remote for sure, and, I don’t know if all docks do this, but it has to be able to charge the iPod. It would be nice if it had the time on it too.

I can’t seem to find one that has the features I want, and my list really isn’t that long!

1) It must plug into the wall, not connect to a computer through a USB.
2) It must be able to hold my iPhone with the case on. It’s just one of those plastic cases that fits right over the phone, but many of the docks seem to be the exact size of the phone.
3) I want it to be small!

i searched the apple site and all i could find was a universal dock..don’t they just have a ihome or whatnot? speakers and dock for 4th generation ipod? anyone? and, since they seem to like to make everything, besides the ipods themselves, black or white..does anyone know what kind of paint i could use if i wanted color on my dock? could i use like..that car model painting stuff?
i know that there are plenty of docks, but i kinda wanted to know if there was one specifically for the 4th generation ipod. if you have to have a reason, lets just go with "i like my stuff to match" kind of ocp

I hate the fact that all the cool MP3 docks are made for iPods! Sure I can play my Sony MP3 player through the line in connection on most of these docks. I, however, want to be able to have it docked through the connection made for the iPod. Is there an adapter that allows me to do this? I hate having my killer Sony MP3 player lying on the side. I want it to look cool on top of the dock. No, I will not sell out and buy an iPod! Never!

I am thinking a 0 ipod dock with wireless speakers. But i am leaving the country for 4 months and i am not willing to take it. Do you have any docks that i could get. And any feedback on if i should get it before or after i leave.

Are iPod speakers and that kind of thing compatible with other mp3 players? I really like Apple’s alarm clock dock but I own a Zune. So are iPod and mp3 docks/stereos compatible and interchangable?

I have seen it done before where the iPod is on the dock connected to a speaker system…my question is, is it all possible to use the dock and ipod and connect it to my surround sound speaker system?

I am not too familiar with how docks work, but I would appreciate the help.
