My mom got an iPhone a couple months back and for Christmas one of the things she is asking for is a set of iPod speakers. I’ve look around and checked out the Apple site but I have one main concern; her phone has a "naked case" by casemate. The case adds about a quarter of an inch to each side and to the bottom.

Is there any iPhone/iPod speaker dock that works well with this type of case?

I want to play my ipod touch on Christmas day I need it to play out of my speakers for up to 5 hours will it last? Also does my speaker/ docking station charge the ipod whilst it is connected?

I am getting an ipod touch for Christmas this year and I have an ipod dock, called an iHome, from last year. I was wondering If I could use it for ipod touch too? I have an ipod nano right now and it works on all ipod nanos.

I decided to order and apple universal dock iphone for a friend for christmas and I decided to get it ebay. however, I just recieved it and I don’t think it’s real. and by that, I don’t think it was made by apple. I mean, it looks like the one on the apple website, but there is no apple anywhere on it, which leads me to believe it’s not legitimate. does anyone have one, and can you tell me if it really does have an apple on it or not?
I did check to make sure that it works, of course. and it DOES work, it’s just that I don’t know if it’s legit for apple or not. it’s a gift for a friend, otherwise, for myself, I wouldn’t care. but as it’s a gift, I’d be embarrassed if it were a fake.

I got an iPod nano 4th generation for christmas
one of those chromatic ones
and i already had an iHome from the iPod i had before
but then when i went to use the iPod on the docking station, it told me that charging wasn’t compatible between the two products
Which is very bad to me because if it doesn’t charge then the iPod dies and then in the morning when my alarm is set to wake me up it doesnt play my songs but instead wakes me up with that annoying beep.

I have an Altec Lansing ipod dock i just got for christmas for my ipod nano 2nd generation, It says on the box that it works for my ipod. But when i connect it to the dock it makes a noise that it has settled in and connected but the music just wont play!
Can someone help me?
I cant figure out how to make it work.

I purchased the Altec Lansing M602 iPod docking station last Christmas from Radioshack and it worked very well– up until about a month or so ago.

Whenever I turn on the dock, there is this interruptive ticking noise that comes from the speakers.
When the iPod is plugged in and playing off of the speakers, the ticking noise will cut off the music.

For example: "Birds come– *tick*– flying at the– *tick*– speed of– *tick*– sound– *tick*."

THOUGH!
Sometimes the speakers work perfectly without a ticking noise.
Today I used them for about 20 minutes without interruption– and then the ticking began.

Anyone know what’s causing this or if there is a way to fix it?

I want to get my husband an IPod docking station for Christmas. We have an Onkyo HT-R540 AV Receiver. Does anyone know which docking stations are compatible with this?

At the moment, I have an ipod nano. I am hoping to get an ipod touch for christmas. My current ipod has lots of songs that I would rather not pay for again. How do I get my songs onto the ipod touch without paying for them again?

I recently bought an ipod nano fifth generation (for Christmas) and I want to buy a docking station for it as well. So today I got an ipig docking station, the box said that Fourth generation nanos would work on it but it said nothing about fifth generation nanos. Will fifth generation ipod nanos work with the ipig docking station?

I asked my mom for christmas for an ipod touch but i am worried about it being expensive and because of that my mom said she may not get it for me because of that?

What si the cost difference of the ipod touch in comparison to the normal ipod and the iphone ? Is the ipod touch closer to the cost of the iphone or a normal ipod?
