I plan on getting an ipod touch 2G for christmas and I’ll also need to purchase an alarm clock/docking station that will charge and play music at the same time. Could you recommend me a few and where to buy one? I don’t want to pay more than 0 for the docking station.

I got an Ipod Nano for Christmas. I couldn’t tell you what generation it is, but its one of the brand new ones and it’s yellow.
It does not charge with my Bose Sound Dock, or the ipod connector in my car (which charged all me previous Ipods)
Is this just something with the new Ipods, or is there a setting I can change?

I just received an iPod nano for christmas, and was hoping to purchase some sort of radio transmitter or car adapter to let me listen to my songs in my car. Im looking for something that will sound great, with no static or interference if possible.

This really sucks because my sweet sixteen also sucked (nobody turned up at my party) I thought christmas would have been better.
By the way I’m 16 (turned it in july), sister is 17 and my brother is 11 nearly 12.. so were in the same age range really. So it’s DEF not because of my age!

My boyfriend got a Kenwood stereo system/subs for his car for Christmas. I want to get him the adapter to plug into the main thing where the screen is so he can listen to his iPod. I have an Ipod touch 3rd generation, and the dock has charged it before (since christmas). The firmware is 3.1.2. The computer still charges it.
Last year I got a dock, a wall charger and some other accessories for my 4th generation 20 GB iPod, but the iPod died a month later. This past Christmas I got a 4th generation 8 GB iPod Nano. Even though none of the accessories I got the year before claim to support the 4th generation Nano (because the 4th generation Nano was not out when these accessories were released), will they still work if I used the Nano with them?
My brother is getting an ipod for Christmas. I want to get him some accessories to go with it. Any recommendations (in order of importance?) I don’t have an ipod so I have no clue. Docking station? Case? Cassette to play through car?

I am getting an iPod touch for Christmas, and I’m most likely getting the 1st generation. From what I can see, there aren’t that many differences between the 1st generation and 2nd generation iPod touch…I know of the volume control, the genius feature, and the rounded instead of flat body.
I don’t care about the body shape that much, but are there any other drastic differences between the 1st and 2nd generations of the iPod touch? i’m talking about speed, calibration, all that stuff. Graphics are also important.

But my old one broke and it was cheap And I wanted a better one so I said don’t buy me one, just add what you were gonna get me to my christmas present. I am getting just one present and they said they’ll get ANY dock I want! Soooooo here’s the only thing they want me to do. Therefore, i have none of the songs that was on my old ipod on my computer, which means i can’t put the songs onto my new ipod.
