I have a jailbroken ipod touch and a crappy verizon cell phone. Is there any way I can forward my texts sent to my cell phone to my ipod touch? I know it is possible to text on ipod touches, but you are forced to have a type of email username, not a phone number. I need to get texts on my ipod that were sent to my cell phone. My ipod IS jailbroken as well. Thanks

It’s been 4 months now, and I plugged the thing to the cradle and the green light lights up 3 times and then no lights come up, not even the red one. I tried using the iPod Reset Utility, but it doesn’t even recognize it (not even on iTunes).

My cell phone servived fine it came back to life after a 2 weeks or so, should I just give up and bury my poor little iPod?

Any pros and cons appreciated; I have a year old really simple cell phone, eligible for an upgrade to a different phone. I want an MP3 player for storing and listening to audiobooks mostly, maybe some music. I’m with Verizon and they recommend the Chocolate. What would better – upgrading to a Chocolate (will cost me about 5) or upgrading to a free phone and buy an MP3 player? I’m looking for a 4GB player, and not an iPod. Do MP3 players have docking stations for use as speakers? or are those docking speakers just for iPods?
