Well, my BFs birthday is in two weeks and when he came to town two days ago, we ended up going to Wally World to try and find one of these. Problem was, the cheapest one they had was ! Well, my bf’s birthday is in two weeks and I’d like to get one of these for him, and I was sure I could find a much better deal online.
I found one for but honestly, it almost seems too good to be true. What do you think?

It operates using radio frequency, which I kind of like only because in one of his trucks has a CD player whereas the other uses a tape deck, so this adapter would work for both. However, the fact that it operates on radio frequency also makes it sound shoddy to me. Would he get static, then, or would the sound quality be just fine?
What do you think? Its only , but I’d like to get some opinions before I buy it as a gift for him.
Thanks!

Ok, I am looking for a docking system that is compatible with the iPod and iPhone that charges it while it plays and also has a built-in cd player. I’ve been looking around and was quite impressed with the Bose Sound Dock but can’t justify 0 for some speakers… Plus, I think I might just be caught up in the Bose marketing scheme… Has anyone heard a really great system?

I believe it’s a 2nd Gen iPod Touch. I really want to get the Bose SoundDock Series II but it doesn’t have radio or a CD player. I’m willing to pay up to 0 and I’d like it to have amazing sound quality, just like the Bose. And preferably in black and I don’t want it to be a clock radio. I want a top quality dock, not the cheap crappy stuff.
My old cdplayer/serero just died out on me and I’m looking for a replacement. It can no long play cds.
I have checked those stores online. I am not looking for the name of a store, I am more so looking for a name of what I listed above. a cd player/ipod docking station with a projection clock.
I’m trying to find one that matches my needs. Listing the names of stoes without a link to the product I described doesn’t help me much.
All i have in my car is a straight up CD player nothing else just that and a radio with a volume dial and a channel dial. No electronic cigarette lighter/adapter or a mp3 jack. What can i get to Play my ipod in my car?
I dont have a headphone port or cassette player in my car its just a CD player that isnt manufacturer fitted, is there any adapter I can use to listen to my ipod in my car? please help!
I’m looking for a 5.1 channel surround sound system for no more than 0 (will bend if it’s extremely nice or an amazing deal).
Right now my top choice is the Onkyo HTSR600 (second choice was the Onkyo HT-SR700S), though that doesn’t have a CD/DVD player or iPod dock, and no HDMI. DVD player is not necessary, the whole DVD upconversion fad is a wad of crap, but a CD player would be nice.
Ipod dock would be good as well, though I can always but it separately. I have a 42" plasma and a PS3 and plenty of Blu-Rays so I want some good sound.
HDMI also not a necessity, but it would be nice. I could always go optical audio.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi,
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus with a built-in CD Player. I want to connect my ipod directly to the car audio system however, don’t know which kit will suit my car best. So, I would appreciate answers on how to remove the car radio to attach the adapter plugs and which adapter will best suit this car. If you have any experience with connecting your ipod to a ford taurus please give me your feedbacks.
Thanks for your answers
Apparently there is a button combination of some sort, or some secret way where you can use your ipod to search through music instead of having the alpine cd player do it for you. The alpine cd player uses a dial to search through music, and we all know that searching through music on a Ipod is much faster and a little more convenient.
Ive heard its possible but i couldnt find a site that where someone was talking about it. It has something to do with holding down 3 buttons of some sort, im not really sure.
But it just runs off your Ipod and still acts like its running off your cd player so you wont lose the sound quality like you would using a auxiliary cable or something else of that sort.
Anyone have any idea!?
My son wants a mini stereo – 2 separate speakers, cd player, radio, and I thought since he has the new iPod Nano it would be neat if he could play his iPod through it. Most of the units are either just docking stations for iPod with built in speakers but no cd player or radio, of it’s a really cheesy sounding stereo. Anyone recommend a good shelf stero system that will allow him to play his iPod through it?
Where can I buy a cheap ipod adapter for my car? I don’t have a tape player or a place to plug my ipod in.. only a CD player!
I am redecorating my room and I am going to get a tv cabinet for the corner. It will include a tv, dvd player, stereo that can play cd’s, AM/FM radio, video game system, and I would also like to incorporate my Ipod and be able to view my pictures and videos from my Ipod on the tv as well as the music. I found this cool system at Best Buy, its only about 0 and it has a docking station for the Ipod on top and it includes, cd player, radio and dvd player and speakers. The problem is that its a not a very good brand and the reviews are horrible. \

Is there a better company that has something like this out there? Or can you advise me on other options where I can have all of these features, without big bulky equipment (since its just a corner of the bedroom) and without the high cost. I am willing to spend up to 0 not including tv and video game system.

I have a dock/CD player/radio for my iPod Nano, but I got a Touch 2G and gave my nano to my sister. Are there any adapters so that the dock will charge the Touch? Right now, the dock will play its music but the iPod says that the accessory is not for that touch. Thanks!
If not, what are some other good accessories for the iPod Touch 2G?
Thanks!
I bought a generic ipod for my kids. I want to get an am/fm cd player with ipod docking station. Will generic ipods work with any ipod docking stations?
