I am taking a school trip to Washington D.C. and was wondering if anyone knows an accessory for the iPod Touch that can make the battery last longer. And PLEASE no one say "Car Adapter," as I can not plug in a car adapter on a school bus. The trip is 9-12 hours long and I would like to watch video almost the whole way to the hotel. If anyone knows of a battery pack or something similar that I can plug into my iPod, that would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased a brand new 4th generation ipod nano online from apple.com. I purchased it November 12th. I also got the free engraving on the back. Ever since I’ve gotten it, it will "reset" itself and the apple logo will appear and it will take about 10 seconds for it to come back on. This happens when it’s on my stereo dock and I take it off of it AND when I have it plugged into my car adapter. Recently this has gotten really bad. I did accidentally drop it one time, but the problems started to happen BEFORE I had dropped it. Although they have gotten worse since I’ve dropped it. ALSO, when I shake it to shuffle the songs, the logo will appear also. I’ve went to apple.com for support and called the numbers and followed their directions, but to no avail have I had any luck. Is there any way to talk to an actual person from apple? What do you think my next step should be?

Well, my BFs birthday is in two weeks and when he came to town two days ago, we ended up going to Wally World to try and find one of these. Problem was, the cheapest one they had was ! Well, my bf’s birthday is in two weeks and I’d like to get one of these for him, and I was sure I could find a much better deal online.

I found one for but honestly, it almost seems too good to be true. What do you think?

It operates using radio frequency, which I kind of like only because in one of his trucks has a CD player whereas the other uses a tape deck, so this adapter would work for both. However, the fact that it operates on radio frequency also makes it sound shoddy to me. Would he get static, then, or would the sound quality be just fine?

What do you think? Its only , but I’d like to get some opinions before I buy it as a gift for him.

      Thanks!

I’m going up north next week and I want to plug my Ipod dock/stereo into my car adapter. It doesn’t run on batteries and I don’t want to use an FM transmitter, ’cause those suck.

Does anyone know of something that will convert a regular AC adapter into the cigg. lighter (car adapter)?
Not literally a cigg lighter – just a standard car adapter plug.

I just received an iPod nano for christmas, and was hoping to purchase some sort of radio transmitter or car adapter to let me listen to my songs in my car. Im looking for something that will sound great, with no static or interference if possible.

Also, my car is a 2002 Ford Focus, so if there is one more compatible with that make and model, that would be wonderful!

Everytime I plug in my iPod to my Belkin FM car adapter, even when the adapter isn’t plugged in to my car. I don’t know why but the iPod goes into the state it would go into when you press Play+Menu. Does anyone know how to stop this?

Hello everyone. I have a 2g ipod touch and I would like to be able to play it in my car. The last adapter I had does not support my new ipod unfortunately. My choices are limited however as my only "source" is my car’s cigarette lighter or the wireless options. I’m trying to find one that meets these two criteria and am running into trouble. Which car adapter do you recommend for my ipod? Thanks!

I have heard about the FM transmitters, and finding a correct station to match with your car radio, but I’m wondering what that has to do with anything and why that’s significant to listening to music through the stereo.

i was hoping to find a simple car adapter, something that could be installed without removing or replacing my current sound system (which is the standard 2002 nissan altima stereo; cd drive, am/fm radio, NO tape deck) and that is inexpensive as well. is this possible? or will i have to get a whole new system? i guess cost doesn’t matter so much because i plan on getting an ipod compatible system no matter what, but less than 0 is preferable… thank you!
