Does anyone know where I can find a discounted bose ipod sounddock (preferably the portable one) for less than the listed price? Everywhere I look, it’s from 0-9. Are there any websites where i can find one? I can’t even find one much cheaper on ebay!

Yeah, bose is the best and i’m sure it’s hard to find at a discount price. i’ll probably either have to bone up and pay the money or wait until the noteriety wears off and the price goes down. Last thing i want to do is get an "open box sale" and find out it’s broken.

I bought a Griffin Itrip with dock connector off ebay to connect my Ipod to my car stereo, and while it came with the actual Itrip, there was no cord. How am I suppossed to connect my Ipod to the stereo without a cord, or can I get one? Does anyone know what exactly an Itrip is for? Well, my BFs birthday is in two weeks and when he came to town two days ago, we ended up going to Wally World to try and find one of these. Problem was, the cheapest one they had was ! Well, my bf’s birthday is in two weeks and I’d like to get one of these for him, and I was sure I could find a much better deal online.

It operates using radio frequency, which I kind of like only because in one of his trucks has a CD player whereas the other uses a tape deck, so this adapter would work for both. However, the fact that it operates on radio frequency also makes it sound shoddy to me. Would he get static, then, or would the sound quality be just fine?
What do you think? Its only , but I’d like to get some opinions before I buy it as a gift for him.

Could i just plug it into the bottom of my ipod without using the dock so i can watch videos on my ipod from my tv.. I heard that you need to plug your ipod into a universal dock and then plug the av cables into that

My ipod dock, Its a memorex that i got on Black Friday has always worked &crap but today when i went to turn it on, it won’t turn on, but on my ipod it says its charging. So i know its connected to power, But the thing won’t turn on at all. PLEAS help. Desperately in need of it.

I have an older Vaio model R505GL which I have never had any performance issues with but… The battery life is poor & I can’t dock it to use my disc drive without unplugging it. Ok so i bought a iPod touch 8GB for 0 about 2 weeks ago, but my friend is selling me an original iPhone (Edge version) 8GB for with dock included. Its a bit scratched on the sides and Apple logo, but it gives me the opportunity to connect it to T-mobile or AT&T as well as take pictures. I was thinking about getting the iPod Classic because I’m going to Europe and I want to watch videos on it. I currently have a iPod Nano (an older version that doesn’t have video.) I know that you can’t buy NBC shows and I wanted to get Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Can I buy the dvds ang put them on the iPod Classic or should I keep my old iPod Nano for music and get a DVD player for the shows?
I have a Yamaha RX-V565 receiver/amp with an ipod dock, and a pair of KEF iQ10 speakers. I want to get the most out of them. What is the best way to connect these speakers? Should I run them bi-wired or single wire? What gauge wire should I run? (The speakers are only 4-6 feet from receiver) Should I put on any type of connectors or just bare speaker wire? (both components have those screw type connectors) Any other tips?
Also, I have an HDTV, cable box and a PS3, I plan on running HDMI cables for all through this receiver. It has 4 HDMI in’s and 1 out. Does this sound like my best option?

When u connect to the earphone speakers, the Pod could not drive the sound out of the speakers. Sound is not very good. Bose Acoustimas speakers connected to a CD disc player or a PC sends out Hifi quality music & is one of the better if not the best sounding speakers around.
Is there a cradle available that connects to such speakers?
When I plug my friend’s ipod into the usb on my computer only my itune’s library comes up. It asks me if I want to syc my friend’s with mine & I don’t because it will delete all of her songs. I just want to add some of mine to hers but I can’t get her library to open on my computer. Even if my ipod is not plugged in at the same time. What software do I need to see her ipod shuffle library?
I’m trying to buy some HIFI equipment for ipod/pc use (mp3s if i don’t have better sound files). Now I’m left with a decision I researched quite heavily and it seems to me if I buy a ipod docking system the best one to use is probably the Jamo i300 or the Klipsch iGroove. The igroove got fantastic reviews for the price but i could spend more money and get the jamo but would it be worth it for the price?? My other problem is it’s only my girlfriend who wants me to get a docking system because they look nicer (namely the igroove) as I was looking at the fatman amps or some cambridge audio amps and some nice speakers then buying a lead to connect them through the bottom of the ipod. So round two of questions goes like this, is the fatman worth it or are tubes not so good for amps out of the guitar arena, if so which amp should i get, and finally would this actually be better than purchasing the docking systems as then can charge and provide all needed?
I also wasn’t looking to spend more than £400 less if poss. and don’t need too much volume.

My wife is a college professor and she heard our friends IPOD playing from a docking station in her car…. she wants one like it…. will probably only hold a couple hundred songs.
