My ipod clock radio will not charge my ipod. Do I need the ipod dock adapter?
When I put it on, it will play, but it says that it is not supported for charging, but on the box it says it is. I don’t have an ipod dock adapter (that white part) currently, as I lost it. If I were to replace it, should it charge? Thanks

I’m guessing that your clock radio isn’t new. If so then it won’t be able to charge your newer iPod because iPod use to charge through FireWire and a little while back they changed it to USB so the clock radio isn’t updated to USB
