Is there an iPod docking station that you can turn off charging the iPod?
So I’m looking to purchasing an iPod docking station. The thing I’m most concerned about is killing my battery life by keeping it charging in the docking station. I’m wondering if there is a product that stops charging the iPod when it becomes fully charged…letting it drain….then turn the charger back on in order to keep the current battery memory.
Is this an actual feature that can be found? If not, what are the best iPod docking stations in your opinion?

The iPod uses a lithium-ion battery, not Ni-Cad.
This means that it does not suffer from memory effect.
It also means, and this is real important, that unlike Ni-Cads, it is NOT good to drain the battery to the last before recharging.
In fact Li-Ions "like" to be charged when they are about 80% full.
i have one its battery operated so it doesnt charge and it folds in to its portable but its small anyways… lol the manufacturer is GARTNER…
