Ipod touch speaker problem.?
I have had my ipod touch (Berwick) for about a year and a half now. It’s the 2nd generation with the volume control on the side. The speakers always worked great. But then one day when I put Berwick on my docking station the little bar that shows how loud the volume is did not appear and the music did not play. I thought it was just something I did wrong so i played around with it and it started working again. But now it’s not even playing out of the speakers anymore. And the only way I can hear music is to use my headphones. I don’t mind doing that, but is there any way I can fix this?

this happened to me once. turn your ipod off for about a min. then turn it back on. If that doesn’t work, try restoring it. it should work when you turn it back on though. good luck
You named your iPod? hmm thats a new one.
anyways, the only advice i could recommend would be to restore your iPod to its original default settings. to do this, connect your iPod to iTunes.
Under devices click on your iPod, and then it will bring you to the screen where it shows you your iPod, what version it is, how much space is left, etc. I’m assuming you know what your doing, so under "Version" there should be a button to restore your iPod if it is not working properly, click that and restore your iPod, this process usually takes about 10 – 15 minutes.
if your speakers still continue to not work properly, you could take it to the apple store, as this is covered under your 1 year warranty with Apple. (unless you bought your iPod over a year ago) than i don’t know what to tell you.
you could just deal with the problem, or buy a refurbished iPod Touch from apple for a slighter cost, or…. you could wait until the 3rd Generation iPod Touch comes out, i work for apple and i would be happy to say that a new line of iPod is coming out soon, although i cant disclose any other information about them, they will be here sometime after labor day.
