Interruptive ticking noise coming from iPod dock speakers?
Hello!
I purchased the Altec Lansing M602 iPod docking station last Christmas from Radioshack and it worked very well– up until about a month or so ago.
Whenever I turn on the dock, there is this interruptive ticking noise that comes from the speakers.
When the iPod is plugged in and playing off of the speakers, the ticking noise will cut off the music.
For example: "Birds come– *tick*– flying at the– *tick*– speed of– *tick*– sound– *tick*."
THOUGH!
Sometimes the speakers work perfectly without a ticking noise.
Today I used them for about 20 minutes without interruption– and then the ticking began.
Anyone know what’s causing this or if there is a way to fix it?
Thanks a lot!

There is no built-in clock, haha.
I think there might be a shortage in the speakers?

It’s a bomb! ahhh
anyways it might just be a loose connection, check the wireing, or try making sure the ipod is completely connect to the dock.
good luck
Maybe it is the built in clock.
I have some computer speakers of that same brand and had the same problem. The solution for me was to move my wireless network router on the other side of the desk and fixed the problem completely. If that doesn’t work I would suggest making sure there isn’t a cell phone or other device that puts off radio waves near the speakers.
yeah there might be a shortage in the speakers that happen to my friend.
