If I sync my ipod onto a different computer will it delete the songs purchased on my ipod?
I’ve bought about 80 directly from my ipod, and I need to sync my ipod, but on a different computer because our old one broke down. This itunes has different songs from my old itunes. All I care about are the songs I purchased from my ipod I don’t care about all my other songs.

If you sync it, then yes all those songs will be erased. However, it won’t automatically sync to a computer it isn’t already synced to. Instead it will give you a dialog box asking if you would like to sync, transfer purchases, or cancel. Select Transfer Purchases and anything you bought from iTunes (including stuff bought in your iPod) will be copied into that computer’s library. Then you can sync.
