I need a Universal Remote?
I have a sony trinitron television, an onkyo reciever with surround sound, a playstation 3, two different ipod docks, (one for video, one for sound, and a hampton cieling fan, what I would really love is a universal remote that can control all of these devices, does anyone know anything that would work?

I recently bought the logitech harmony remote 550. There are newer (alot more expensive) ones out there, but the 550 works just fine for me. I am able to control all my devices (XBOX360, plasma tv, dvd/cd/receiver, hampton fan(yes i have a hampton fan too.) The only problem i have experienced with this remote is that their databases which contain the codes for most devices dont usually work. I had to manually teach the remote each and every command by pointing the original remote at the logitech harmony 550 and pressing the desired key for each function you want control of. ANYWAY… the logitech harmony 550 universal remote will control everything you need it to… great product.
Try going to circuit city, or best buy and telling them exactly what you have. I have a universal remote right now, it controls the tv, vcr, dvd, surround sound, and stereo, but it only works on "most" models, so there are some systems that it wouldn’t be compattible with.
Go to Logitech.com remote is expensive but it works. I have one and I am happy with it.
Logitech Harmony remotes are the way to go!!!! Get one off eBay and save a bunch!
Try the One For All Kameleon Theater Remote it is very mutch like the Logitech Harmony but a lot cheaper. works well for me you can get one that works with 5 devices 8 Devices and 10. i have the 8 they all can control lights. Very good product worth it.
