How to navigate through iPod Nano 1st generation without using the screen?

The screen on my iPod Nano 1st gen cracked and I do not want to get it fixed. The iPod still works and i reset it to the factory settings through iTunes. Now can anyone give me a walk through of how to get to stuff like playlists, songs, and artists?(like the number of clicks etc.) Thanks!
