How can I have my iPod AND GPS connected to the car at the same time?
My best friend and I are going on a road trip in a few weeks time and are going to Best Buy to get a GPS. In order to keep the GPS charged and running for the whole 8 to 18 hours at a time that we need to get to each city, we would have to connect it to the car’s cigarette lighter to the best of my understanding. I also would like to buy a dock connector for my iPod so we can play music from my iPod through the car’s speakers, but from the best of my knowledge, that is connected through the car’s cigarette lighter also and obviously we can’t have both plugged in at the same time. Is there another way I can both connected to the car at the same time for a more enjoyable trip? Thanks in advance!
