Does the Ipod Sound Dock have an alarm like an alarm clock?

My mother just gave me an ipod sound dock from bose and its portable and it comes with an adapter and such.. My question is.. does the sound dock have an alarm? like if i set an alarm to my ipod will it go off on my dock?
