does the Ipod docking station work only with Ipod?? I m’ looking for a ordinary Mp3 player that can be dockable.

When you connect with a cable instead of the dock connector, you don’t get anywhere near the volume as you would from an iPod. You might want to factor that in.
Sadly yes, because of the plug that goes into the bottom of the ipod, MP3s can be connected. There are docks that work for both though, the port is plugged into the audio hole so it works for mp3 too!
