Does the iPhone 3G dock work with iPhone 4?
Basically I’m upgrading to the iPhone 4 soon and I want to know whether it will fit ok into an iPhone 3G dock, so that I don’t have to go out and pay an inflated price for something so simple. Can anyone confirm this for me?
(p.s. thanks, but i dont care if you think i shouldnt get an iPhone 4 for whatever reason, I’m getting it anyway. and no, i dont want one for ‘free’)

You can use different clips for the dock. It will work as long as you have the iPhone 4 clip.

Nah, they are different sizes and shapes, dont buy one from the apple sore or another shop, use ebay and you can get them for about $8-12.
