Your Source Of iPod Docks Information
I got my dad a new 8GB Ipod nano for christmas this year, the new one with the video camera and all. Anyways, he used to have one of those small ipod shuffles but it broke which is why I got him the new one. So I plugged in the new ipod and it won’t sync or anything. How do I sync the new ipod? Or how do I get all the songs he has in his library now to his new ipod? Any help and information will be greatly appreciated! Please and thank you!
I have a jailbroken ipod touch and a crappy verizon cell phone. Is there any way I can forward my texts sent to my cell phone to my ipod touch? I know it is possible to text on ipod touches, but you are forced to have a type of email username, not a phone number. I need to get texts on my ipod that were sent to my cell phone. I have had my ipod touch jailbroken before but then i got an update and the jailbreak was gone. Then i tried to re-jailbreak it but it killed it and I had to get a new ipod touch. So I was wondering if there was a way to get different themes for my home screen like you could download from the program called Springboard on a jailbroken i-touch. Thanks if you can help. Please nothing risky I can’t afford a new ipod touch.
How to record a song off my ipod onto garageband?
I don’t mean like recording it off my docking station; the sound quality is bad. I mean plugging my ipod into the mac ibook and recording it straight off of the ipod onto garageband. Sorr if this is confusing, im confused myself.
My dumbself updated my ipod to 3.0 and that messed up my jailbreak. I get all my songs from limewire and if I rejailbreak it, i will lose all my music. I dont want to download all that music again. So is there anyway I can rejailbreak my iPod touch 2nd Gen and back up my limewire music? Please help. It is appreciated.

I just got a new pc and I need to get my iPod songs onto my new iTunes. Some of the stuff isn’t bought from iTunes so it wouldn’t transfer. I know about idump but it says it can’t read my iPod. Does anyone know of any similar free programs? Or another way to transfer my songs? Any help is appreciated!
I just got a new mac, and with that i got a new ipod. So i hooked my new ipod up to my old itunes on my old computer and transfered all the songs onto it.
Now, i tried to plug my ipod into my mac, and it won’t transfer the song. It gives me the option to "transfer purchases" but it doesn’t do anything.
So how can i get this ipod synced with this new mac?
I have a new laptop after my other one broke. The only place for my music now is on my ipod as my old itunes is unavailable. When i downloaded itunes for my new laptop i tried to sync my ipod but was unable to as it was already synced to the itunes on my old laptop. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the music from my ipod to my new itunes without losing all of the music as my new itunes wants to erase my ipod.

I have a 4th generation Ipod Nano. I have very little music on it, however I listen to many podcasts. My boyfriend now has an Ipod Classic. He will download a lot of music and wants nothing to do with my podcasts. We already maintain separate user accounts on our PC, but somehow when he connects his iPod into iTunes it downloads all my podcasts. How on earth do we manage separate podcast libraries but share music?

What can you do on a jailbroken ipod that you can’t do on a regular one. Could it cause my ipod to break? And if my ipod breaks for some reason later on, will Apple be able to fix it, or does the warranty not account to jailbroken ipods.
Okay I plugged in my ipod to my friends itunes. My ipod is already synced with now three iunes. But after I plugged my ipod into my friends itunes I can’t get my songs from my itunes back on my ipod. I am thinking about getting the new ipod nano to replace my year and a half year old ipod video 5g. I was wondering, first of all, how the battery life is on the new nano, because that will be one of the major reasons that i am switching. I am also wondering if the accelerometer messes up while you are running with the ipod. Will it like shuffle if it is bouncing up and down while you are running, or if its is shuffling around in your pocket?

The computer I use to upload my songs and other media to my ipod isn’t working but I want to still keep all what is on my ipod while adding new things all on a different computer- is there a special way to either download the stuff on my ipod to my other computer or add new stuff w/o deleteing everything else?

when i plug my camera and old mp3 player to the computer it makes a ding ..but not when i plug my ipod up.
Recently I deleted an album off my library while my ipod was still connected to the computer. The album was then taken off my ipod when I ejected it; can I disconnect my ipod first, then delete it off of my library? Is that even possible? Will the album or songs still stay on my ipod even when it is not on the library?
Ok I found this iPod and I have Yahoo360 Proshare. I don’t have any iPod software and my mom thinks its a waste to buy it. She doesn’t wanna pay for iTunes. When I plug in my iPod on my computer the drive never shows up. So what can I do to get songs for free on my iPod???
