I’ve just purchased a VW EOS and it has a built in iPod dock, however I am a Zune user. Is there any conversion device or cable to make the connection work?
I already know about the cassette plug in but I saw someone else that had a car charger that also played the music on the ipod through the car stereo and it was plugged into the cigarette lighter.
I purchased a product from Jensen, Car Power Adapter – model # JCD22A. It’s supposed to convert from 1000mA current (cigarette lighter) to the voltage used for an ipod, wihch can be 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 9, or 12v.
I know NOTHING about this type of stuff, and don’t want to fry my ipod. Anyone know the correct voltage to use, or if it even matters?
Thanks!
I purchased my LG Versa and it works as an mp3 player, I was wondering if there was a way that I can plug it into my ipod dock in my car. I looked online but I can’t find anything yet.
I was wondering if combining these two products would allow me to listen to my iPod shuffle through my car stereo’s FM frequency. The car stereo is factory installed, so there is no place to input a cable. I would need the wireless FM transmitter, however these are designed for almost everything but the iPod shuffle. So I thought perhaps if I combined the Dock Adapter with the wireless FM transmitter, I may be able to listen to my favorite tunes while driving. Does anybody know if this would work? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
