Can i use iPod Cable to charge iPhone 3G?
Can i use my (1st generation iPod nano)’s Dock Connector to USB Cable to charge my iPhone 3G and connect it to a laptop?

Yes you can. But your phone might charge a little bit slow because since that USB cable is a little bit old. But your good to go. Unless your phone or computer says that is not good to connect your phone to that then just get a new USB cable. That’s what happened to me. Maybe is because the cable is just not strong enough to pass the amount of electricity to your phone.
Yes I don’t see why not. They are the same cables anyway.
