Can an iPod Dock play music from an ipod as the alarm clock instead of just buzzing?
I want to wake up to certain songs, and it would be nice if i could use my ipod dock to do this…

Yes. All you have to do is set an alarm on your iPod for the right time, select the playlist you want it to play, and plug it into your dock, leaving it on with your ipod as the input.
ps you can set the alarn by going from the main menu into Extras, and then into Alarms.
