No, the bose docking stations do not play radio stations. I had one, and the iHome actually has more functions, but is a lower price. An iHome has an AM FM radio, and an alarm clock, while the bose docking stations can only play your iPod and comes with a remote to control the basic functions of your iPod. However, the bose wave systems come with one. Hope I helped.
