Are there any MP3 players that are compatible with accessories made for iPod?
I was planning on getting my guy an MP3 player for his birthday, so my sister went and got him a docking station. (before I actually bought the player) The docking station is made by GTX. (iLive CD and Radio Home Music System with Docking and Recharging Station for iPod) The only problem is I wasn’t planning on buying an iPod!!!!
So is there an MP3 player out there that will be compatible with accessories made for iPods?

No. There are a very small number of docks that have not only the iPod dock connector but an auxiliary as well. You can use the auxiliary for any device after you buy the cable. iPod compatible docks usually cost more so if you’re not going to buy an iPod, the best thing is for her to return or exchange that dock.
