I just got a dock w/ speakers for my birthday, and just 2 weeks ago i lost my 4 GB 2nd gen. nano. So I’m thinking of saving up to buy a third gen nano and i was just curious.

Has anyone else run into this problem? When I dock my iPod in the Sounddock no sound will come out of the speakers and the speakers are making a click-click noise even when nothing is docked. Nothing changed from when it was working and when it wasn’t — it just started happening randomly. Any ideas?

I’m looking for a reputable brand IPOD car adapter for a 2001 BMW 7Series. BMW didn’t start making an adapter for BMW until 2002. I’m wondering if anyone knows of a good quality car adapter for IPOD that will work for a 2001 7Series BMW. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

does anyone know anything about car stereos? I need a good ipod compatible car stereo, but i want to still be able to play CDs and radio. I want to be able to control my iPod from the radio, meaning I want my iPod to connect to the radio with the apple docking cord, and not the AUX in cord.
any ideas? also, id like to try to keep my price below 0, but anything above it would be helpful too

Problem is, one day it was working..the next I went to put my iPod on it to play and it wouldn’t and still won’t play out of the speakers. I’ve tried unplugging it, turning the radio off (the radio comes on when I put my iPod on it), and pushing various buttons to try and reset it or something to make it work.
I’m not too sure what I did to it?!
Anyone else have similar problems with this iPod docking station? If so..how did you fix it? Thanks!

i have a ’97 mercury sable and i just got a new Sony InDash Player (CDXGT420IP) with a ipod cable runin from the back of the dock to the front in2 the glovebox that i got installed by circut city. i was sittin in my car in a parking lot and i had my key turned back so i could listen to music from my ipod through the cable and i turned the music up as loud as i usualy do when i am drivin and i have turned it up that loud b4 when i sit and hav my key turned back then all of a sudden the stereo turned off and wont go back on i tried pressin the restart button on it but it did nothin also right after that i tied startin my car and a little while latter i noticed my speedometer area didnt work i dont remember if the speedometer stoped working right after the dock stoped working but i drove to the gas station and then back to where i was sittin and turned off my car and back on and thats when i noticed the speedometer didnt work does any1 know what could be wrrong or how to fix it?

i borrowed my brothers bose sounddock to play some music in my room, but when my brother took it back the speakers don’t work anymore… All I did was play music from my IPhone. I read online that if you resent you phone it should work, but I tried that and it didn’t. All there is to the dock is a volume up and a volume down button. You plug it into the wall if that helps you figure anything else out… Please tell me what I can do to fix it. I’m in huge trouble and he’s pissed at me…
