So i get it today and see if it works, i plugged the end into the smoker thing, and hooked the other end into the ipod, on the ipod screen it shows that it is charging, yet it wouldnt play. do I have to mess with the fm buttons or something in the car to get it to work?

                Question about a Cracked iPod dock?

                I tried to make a small incision to my iPod Dock so that it would comfortably fit my iPod Touch, and ended up making a split straight down the middle of the cover screen, which is glass. It still works, but now has two glass flaps hanging from it. Do you have any ideas to where I can take it to get fixed; or how to fix it myself? ( no answers such as: superglue etc.[: )
