I am looking for a Ipod docking station for a AV receiver that has an optical audio connection between the docking station and the Ipod dock. I want to be able to keep the digital quality of the music going from the Ipod to the AV receiver

I have a ipod docking station, I also have 2 large speakers (impedance is 8 ohms). The docking speakers are not loud enough or clear enough however, it does have 2 RCA out ports (audio, white and red). My speakers have standered speaker wire. I know that there is positive ans negetive on RCA but don’t know how to deal with it. Also when I stripped the RCA there was another set of wires in each one (inside they were cased again). I know I can go out and by converters, but is there any way to do it my self?

So I want to import songs from the Music section on my ipod (music that is already on my ipod) onto my ipod playlist. It says that you need to put songs into a playlist from you library though…
Does anyone know how to put the music you already have on your ipod into the library or how to put music that already on your ipod into a playlist?
P.S im pretty sure the version of itunes i have is 3.1.1 if it helps

I am thinking a 0 ipod dock with wireless speakers. But i am leaving the country for 4 months and i am not willing to take it. Do you have any docks that i could get. And any feedback on if i should get it before or after i leave.

Oh and by the way, i have an ipod touch 8GB.

Ive bought a cygnett docking cradle for my ipod nano, but i cannot get it to work with usb. The manual says to disable a USB host controller, but this still does not work, it only makes all my USB peripherals siese to function. Any ideas would be great!

Preferably one with a docking station or something, I’m just tired of those crappy little Ipod speakers, I want to listen to my music on stereo quality.

And no I don’t want to make CDs, having thousands of my songs on one thing is what I want, not having to browse through hundreds of CDs

i was hoping to find a simple car adapter, something that could be installed without removing or replacing my current sound system (which is the standard 2002 nissan altima stereo; cd drive, am/fm radio, NO tape deck) and that is inexpensive as well. is this possible? or will i have to get a whole new system? i guess cost doesn’t matter so much because i plan on getting an ipod compatible system no matter what, but less than 0 is preferable… thank you!
oh yeah! i forgot about fm adapters, but ahhh i really don’t want one of those, i know several people who’ve had them and the reception is for $h!t!!!

what’s your preferred method of doing this, assuming the car doesn’t have an iPod dock? My car’s a ’07 Honda Odyssey which has no AUX or iPod inputs. So far I’ve found the USA Spec PA11-HON2y which allows you to use the vehicle’s audio controls like track changes.

What are the most important accessories?

Do different docks have different angles or what? I’m thinking 30 degree for the full size ipod but I dunno…

Okay, so I tend to fall alseep with my iPod on. I don’t have the money to get a docking station. So, my question is, is there like an auto sleep on iPod Touch? Like, if you left it running for a set amount of time without touching it, it would turn off on it’s own. My MP3′s used to, but ca. iPod Touch? Thanks. If it does, can you give me step by step?

Yesterday I had my Ipod on the Dock System thing and I was listening to my songs while in the shower and then when I got out the shower and I was doing my hair It cut off. My ipod just stop working like that. It won’t turn on and I plugged it up to the comp. I held down the play/pause button. Everything. It just stopped and won’t work. What do I do?

all other ipod docking stations play but dont charge

I have a Toshiba Gigabeat. I’d like to be able to put it in a docking station with speakers, like you can with Ipods. Or is there just a way to hook it into regular stereo speakers?

I just purchased a Hurricane 1994 24 foot fun deck. Came with a Yamaha 200 hp EFI 200 TXRS outboard. Needs a water pump. I don’t know a think about this engine. Any assistance and help would be appreciated. Believe this is original engine. What is EFI? What is TXRS. This is a salt water engine. Dock master said looks in great shape. I want to perform normal service before first voyage but don’t know that to ask for w/o the mech bending me over. Thanks.

Lately I been looking for speakers for my ipod.Nothing in the stores caught my eye so I looked on the apple website. They have a lot of nice looking speakers but the problem is I cant see them in person and I dont know IF they have a good quality sound. I want speakers that are loud but does not get disorted. Is there a way I can get more reviews on the speakers? The speakers that I am interested in are the Klipsch iGroove SXT

I have had my iPod for 5 months now, and I have always wanted the dock for it! I may get one later, but in the time being, what do you suggst/ use to projuect sound "outloud" with out using the 1 person speakers! I am the type of person that likes to have music on when I clean, etc.! PLEASE- ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL DO!

I have the Ipod 30 gb 5th generation…and the hard drive is damaged….lol like completley smashed…(Skateboarding accident) the screen click wheel and chips inside are all perfect..i just get the sad face of death which means bad hard drive…so my question is if i buy a 60 gb hdd will it fit in the case of the 30gb ipod?
