Alright. So I have an Ipod Touch. This is the third time it broke. I sent it back to apple and It is on back order. They said about 2-3 moths til’ I will get money or a new one. Im in the process of looking for an ipod docking station and before i buy i want to know if anyone knows where i can find a good selection of ipod docking stations.

I want to get a receiver for my 7.1 surround speakers that can do linear PCM 7.1 surround and that has an iPod dock built in.

I’ve seen DVD Home theatre kits with built in iPod docks but I’ve already got a good DVD player and just want the receiver.

Anyone know of anything?

I recently bought an ipod touch to replace my classic. My Touch doesn’t play on my docking station (which is compatible for a ipod touch) sound only plays through the ipods internal speakers. However, when the ipod is docked, i can stop the music with my remote control to the docking station? Im very confused by this. I don’t know if it is a setting on my ipod which i have to change. Please help!!!

I have a car stereo with an RCA aux input in the back so i am going to connect a rca male to 3.5mm male cable from that and drill a hole so i can connect it to my ipod. i also want to be able to charge it at the same time. do they sell a cradle that allows me to charge and connect to a 3.5mm to the ipod all in the same unit?

i just bouhgt a new ipod and when i plug it into itunes it wont allow me to add songs or play songs from it. when i plug in my old ipod it was work fine.

my ipod shows that it is connected once i open itunes put is grey so i cant click it.

I want to get the iPod + iPhone Speaker Dock/Clock radio, from Sony and I saw in a Walmart ad that it also charges your Ipod when it is on the dock, but on Sony’s website I looked at the exact same product but it mentioned nothing about being able to charge your ipod. Plz help!

At the moment, I’ve got a PS3, SKY+ HD and my TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-40X2000. I’m looking to get a good A/V receiver that can handle uncompressed 7.1 sound. I just want one HDMI cable going from each box (PS3 and SKY HD)to the receiver and one HDMI cable going into the TV.

With this, I’m looking to get a 7.1 speaker set that can plug into the A/V receiver.

I’m really looking to spend about £600-£800 altogether on the speakers and receiver.

Any advice on the best Receiver/speakers I can get for this price would be great!

As you can probably tell, I’m a bit of a noob to this Home Theatre stuff and I want to be able to dock my iPod with the receiver. WHEN I PLAY VIDEO FILES FROM IPOD , HOME THEATER PLAYS AUDIO BUT DOES NOT THE VIDEO ON MY TV. I HAVE HOOK UP HOME THEATER TO MY PANASONIC 50" HD TV Y HDMI CABLE . PLEASE ADVICE.

I already know about the cassette plug in but I saw someone else that had a car charger that also played the music on the ipod through the car stereo and it was plugged into the cigarette lighter.

I purchased a product from Jensen, Car Power Adapter – model # JCD22A. It’s supposed to convert from 1000mA current (cigarette lighter) to the voltage used for an ipod, wihch can be 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 9, or 12v.
I know NOTHING about this type of stuff, and don’t want to fry my ipod. Anyone know the correct voltage to use, or if it even matters?
